The perseverance in keeping their eyes fixed on Heaven, where the Lord ascended and was enveloped by a cloud, led two angels to present themselves to speak with the disciples. If they had diverted their gaze from Christ, they would probably have even questioned the importance of Jesus. Our attitudes also speak, and our interest in the Word will determine how much knowledge will be granted to us. Do you love God? So, show it!

Each instruction from the Lord must be cherished, for it is precious and of utmost importance for our success in faith. You wouldn't pay attention to your employee if he looked at you with disdain, for example. Whoever strives to please the Heavenly Father will have a prominent place in His consideration. Even in times of crisis, when you need to let go of some employees, you will try to find a way to keep them, won't you?

May the eyes of your heart always be attentive to the Word, for without a doubt, it has much more to show you! The Lord does not speak in vain; on the contrary, His directions enable us to understand the riches reserved for His children. We are built by what we understand of the divine Word, therefore it is essential that we love Him with all our heart and obey Him!

Jesus had said that He would ascend to Heaven, and this must have caught the attention of those who were dear to Him, for the Holy Spirit always acts like this. Therefore, dedicate yourself to learning everything that the Almighty points out to you in the Bible, for these are truths ministered to your heart. Whoever loves God keeps His commandments and follows them (John 14:21), but there are those who don't even bother to follow His orders.

You don't waste time, but rather gain wisdom by reflecting on what He says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1.8). Thus, you learn how to live with the Most High and succeed in your ways!

Keeping your eyes on the Word will make you receive a visit from the Most High to teach you how to live well, as Eliphaz said to his friend Job: Behold, this we have searched out; It is true. Hear it, and know for yourself.” (Job 5.27). How many revelations have you missed by considering other things more important? The servants of God will overcome all trials!

Remember: The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. (Psalm 34.7). You wouldn't want to miss out on this blessing, would you? The Lord delivers all those who respect Him!
