“Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit have sent Me.”

Isaiah 48.16

These days, we have been studying the revelations of the Lord delivered through Isaiah, written in the biblical book of his authorship, which have benefited us greatly. With this, we have become aware of God's message and prepared ourselves to understand it. Jesus is the person to whom the entire Bible converges. He is the beloved Son who died to save us and will return to take us to His Kingdom of eternal happiness.

Christ invites us to come to Him and listen to Him. This will be of great help to those who wish to prepare for His return. The Savior declared that He made no secret of this from the beginning, when He was already present in the government of all things. However, the Holy Spirit had not yet been sent to give us knowledge. Now, the Lord of lords, the Father, has prepared the Son to show us the meaning of His words.

The verse following the one used for our study reveals one of the sweetest and most blessed messages we can hear to open our understanding: Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. (Isaiah 48.17). This shows that the prophet was fully convinced that nothing had come from his own mind. That which comes directly from God generates faith in the heart of man, so even in preaching, we must distinguish our own observations from what the Father speaks to the people.

Jesus is the Lord, and that is enough for us to be at peace in the face of crises and attacks from the enemy. Those who have Him by their side can and should address sickness and any problem with total authority, demanding that the evil work be undone and never return. If we have the Lord as our Commander, guaranteeing that He will fulfill our determinations made in His Name, we must command and believe!

He teaches us what is useful; therefore, no biblical guidance should be expelled from our hearts, but rather confessed as our own. Christ resisted the temptations of the devil by quoting the Scriptures and never yielding to the evil one (Luke 4:1-13). Know that the adversary, besides being a liar, is unable to touch those who resist him using the Word of God, which is a consuming fire (James 4:7; Hebrews 12:29). By reciting the Bible, you burn the enemy!

Every revelation is a weapon with which you will undo the evil works of Hell in your life. Be strong, resist with “Thus says the Lord” and see who, in fact, is the most powerful. Whoever uses the weapons of Heaven's righteousness will do the same works as Christ. The only way to cast out the devil is to command him to retreat in the Name of Jesus. Then, after blessing your body, believe in the Lord!

Finally, the Holy One of Israel affirms that He guides us in the way we should walk. This means that God will speak to us more through His Word in order to comfort us and make us successful in our endeavors. The faithful trust in the Almighty and walk in all the ways shown by Him!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

God, our Father and Master! It is good to know that You will never leave us alone in the battles against the enemy. Using Your Name, which is a consuming fire, we will be victorious. We are grateful for revealing the Truth to us!

We come to You to hear what Jesus heard and to see You do Your work, so that we can then do the same. We sincerely thank You for Your teachings. We do not wish to lose any battle or abandon ship, but rather to press forward until victory. You are the Savior!

You sent Your Holy Spirit, and with His coming, we receive power to fulfill Your will. Teach us to trust in You and keep us from ourselves. We do not want to take command that is Yours. Help us to honor and love You!
