CONGREGATION OF THE MIGHTY

God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods.
Psalm 82.1
In the world, there are many groups considered powerful, whose strength is far greater than that of the rest. When these powerful people make decisions, many despair, thinking that something very serious will happen. However, only what God allows will happen. Anyone who tries to pass themselves off as a good person, but has evil in their heart, alienates others. Watch out!
The mighty ones described here are the Lord's servants who used the Word so that God would act even in times of adversity. They had hope in the Most High, and they didn't give it up. These mighty ones didn't fight for this position, they won it by divine election. The Lord saw that they were after His heart. They didn't love life until death, but loved the Most High and believed in Him!
The Almighty is not in the congregation of the failed and lost, of those who do not wish to change their lives, giving glory to the enemy and not to God. Whoever surrenders to Christ is transformed into the image and likeness of the Lord, pleases Him and is never defeated. You can and should be that kind of person; after all, Jesus overcame the devil so that you could be successful. The Son has prepared everything for your good.
When the Word of faith enters your heart, it completely changes your life. There might have been only defeats before, but now you reap victories. The Word reaches you with power to make you triumph. However, if you don't commit to fight to reach the top of the podium, the Word does nothing. It will only stand by your side as a witness to your error and contempt for God's will. No matter who you are, fight to succeed!
Jesus testified to this truth when he said to the Jews: I and My Father are one (John 10.30). They were enraged by this statement and wanted to stone Him. People who don't understand the Scriptures also condemn us for saying that we can act like gods when the Word of God reaches us and we speak it with faith and determination. Unbelievers don't accept this reality, but it is in fact the case: because of Jesus, we are powerful.
Seeing that they had stones in their hands, Jesus told them that He had done countless works, and they knew it. Then the Lord asked them for which work they would kill Him, and the answer He received was: for making Yourself God (v. 33). The Master made them reflect on the words found in the Holy Book itself about Him: “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? (John 10.34), in an allusion to Psalm 82.6. Holy Scripture is pure truth!
We must always read the Bible carefully and believe it in order to walk on the right path. In the pages of the Bible, there will never be a collision of one truth with another. All records must be accepted: But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes (Psalm 82.7). At the moment of anointing, we act like gods; at other times, we remain fallible men, always putting our faith in Jesus!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord of the mighty! Everything You have said must be accepted and taken on as our own. In this way, we will glorify You as the faithful God. There is no way out for man except in You. We must believe in Your plan, for it is perfect.
It's beautiful to be used by You! We do things that the natural man would never do. In this way, we declare our love and consideration for You, as the God You are and will be for eternity. May we always be in the position of beloved children!
All the saved are Your children, but those who receive the revelation of the Word and use it become like gods at that moment and then continue to praise and worship You for such goodness. Let us be attentive to fulfilling Your will!
