The wrath of a king is like the roaring of a lion; whoever provokes him to anger sins against his own life.

Proverbs 20.2

Our bond with the King of kings, Lord of lords and beloved Savior is one of full trust in His command. On the occasion when John the Baptist said he didn't want to baptize Jesus in the river Jordan, but wanted to be baptized by Him, the Master replied: But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. (Matthew 3.15). Justice must be fulfilled first and foremost.

Nature shows us what the forces of Hell feel when someone from God preaches the Word and uses the Name of Christ to rebuke evil. This can be compared to a lion appearing in a village: people disappear from the streets and hide wherever they can. This will happen to you if you invoke this Name over any evil. Then believe that the demons will disappear and hide (Luke 10:19). Never let them come back!

The Savior taught that when an unclean spirit is cast out, it wanders around barren places to see if it can find anyone to possess. If it doesn't find anyone, it will try to go back to where it was. When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none (Matthew 12.43). In this spiritual process, people deny God his lordship over them. Watch out!

The danger lies in the carelessness of individuals who have been healed but have not received Jesus as Savior and Lord. They have been grateful for their deliverance, they have turned away from their mistakes, they have cleansed themselves of dirt and decorated themselves with better thoughts, but they have not remembered God. In this case, look what happens: Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. (Matthew 12.44). Where is the mistake?

Some even return to the religion they professed, and others think they didn't need the Gospel because they were free. However, this is not what happens: Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation. (Matthew 12.45). In fact, they need to be set free again, because now there are eight demons tormenting them. Mercy!

The Lion of the tribe of Judah will roar again, but he needs to live in you and in your family members, as He himself declared: Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. (John 14.23). Man without God is easy prey in the hands of the evil one. Be converted and protect yourself by having the Son of God dwelling in you. He will set you free (John 6:37). Believe!

There's no way the devil can keep pestering you when you give yourself to the Lord. The Word will never pass away, so receive Christ now and believe that the devil will no longer be able to touch your life. It's important to persevere in your faith and in your covenant with God. Jesus and you are unbeatable together!

Today's Prayer

God of the eternal Covenant! It is good to walk with You forever, for death has lost us. As members of the Covenant made by Your Son on the cross on behalf of humanity, we cannot be terrified. When the enemy comes, we will remember this Covenant!

Father, from our salvation, when we truly free ourselves from sin and become one with You and the Savior, we live free without bending to Satan's offer. We are grateful that You have finished the work!

We don't want to provoke Your anger. We ask for Your assistance so that we will never deny or defy You. As participants in the Body of Christ, we want to be used to help others find You!
