And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him —whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac

Genesis 21:3

The promise was fulfilled in the life of Abraham, and Sarah, at 90 years old, became the oldest mother in the world. How this was possible, only He to whom everything is possible can explain (Luke 1:37). Therefore, never give up! As long as there is life, God can even grant any dying person the right to see their days fulfilled on Earth. We do not know how the Most High did His part, but we are aware that Isaac was born from a man whose body was as good as dead (Romans 4:19-22).

The time for Abraham to be a father had passed, but for the Lord, the mere fact of accepting that Sarah would become a mother at a very advanced age was enough for the work to be done as if they were young. God's power is able to go as far with man as he believes. We are the miracle every day. Defying human expectations, the Most High is capable of raising us from the dead, just as He did with Lazarus (John 11:1-29).

Even before Sarah became pregnant, the Lord had declared that a baby would be born and his name would be Isaac: Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him (Genesis 17:19). Not only would Isaac come to be a blessing, but also his seed would be the heir of the promises made to Abraham. Pray for the descendants of the patriarch!

Sooner than they think, a gigantic movement will arise in the hearts of the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They will have their understanding opened and will seek Jesus, the Savior. When they find Him, they will become the evangelists of their time, and the wonders of the Lord will be performed with such undeniable proofs that the nations will recognize that God is in their midst (Habakkuk 2:14). There will be no way to prevent the fulfillment of the Father's will!

This is our time to do the divine work! When the time comes for the Jews, and the rest of the world surrenders to Christ, we will hear about great works that people have not yet had the pleasure of seeing, as Jesus said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father (John 14:12).

Everything the Master declared will happen. Glorious times will be those when the seed of Abraham inherits the Promised Land, and the manifestations of the Almighty will shake the world, confirming His good Word. The city of Jerusalem will become the capital of the world, and we will not be able to explain, because the work done by the children of Abraham will be formidable!

Isaac was born bringing joy, as if he were God's answer to those who doubted that the Lord could give Abraham a son, even though Sarah was barren. She became pregnant and had a normal pregnancy by miracle, because her age did not allow for this to happen. When Isaac was born, some might have even thought, "Will she have enough milk to feed him?" Yes, she did, and she only weaned him at the right time (Genesis 21:7-8). Believe!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Glorious Father! What doctor could say that, scientifically, Sarah's pregnancy would be impossible? But You, Lord, who have power and perform wonders among us, guaranteed Sarah's pregnancy!

You are great in Your works when people believe in You and do the work. The sign that You are acting is seen through the knowledge of the Scriptures. Even so, someone might ask: "If You work, who can stop You from being faithful?"

We are grateful for using Abraham and Sarah in those days; in this way, people proved that Your message is positive and liberates those who were in sin, without any prospect of escaping the enemy's hands. By fulfilling Your good promises, You make us successful people!
