The work of recreating our spirit—the new creature—is one of the greatest that man has ever known. However, it seems that we still do not understand this fact, because we do not give it the attention it deserves. The Word summarizes what we are before God in the following way: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."  (2 Corinthians 5.17). Do we truly believe in the Lord?

We must clothe ourselves with this new being, our recreated spirit, to understand everything God says about us. The statement is simple, according to what comes from Above. We need to take advantage of the potential of being new creatures and set out to do the work of Jesus, or else we do not believe in Him. Christ left no doubt when He said, "He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also" (John 14.12a). Do you believe?

Christ came to show us how to preach the Word and use Heaven's power. We will be considered guilty if we do not believe in Him or sit idly by while praying for Him to send us power. He has already done this, as He said: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1.8).

We are the new man revealed by God, so we have reason to walk as Jesus walked and perform His wonders. See how much it cost Jesus to transform us into a new person: having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace (Ephesians 2.15). We must preach and live this message before everyone, guiding them to become new creation as well.

The new man is created in those who convert to true righteousness. Therefore, there is no reason to doubt that we will gain new converts throughout the world. We go through life, following the path of the whole Earth, going to the Lord, who broke down the enmity between men in His flesh and abolished the Law with its precepts. He did this to create one Body, uniting Jews and non-Jews, to bring them back to God. You must have faith!

You have the potential to become a new creation. If you transgress, you can and should confess to the Most High in order to be forgiven and purified. The Scriptures guarantee: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (1 John 1.9). So lift up your head and thank God for showing mercy in your life. Return to doing what the Lord has determined for you. He is the Lord!

        Now, believe and recognize that you were created in true holiness, so no one can condemn you (Romans 8:33, 34). Fulfill the mission for which the Lord has commissioned you. Don't let the devil deceive you, but walk to clothe yourself with the new man. You can do it!
