Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers

Deuteronomy 8:1

There is a good reason for everything God tells us in His Word; therefore, we must pay close attention to His directions. Although He is almighty, far beyond what we can imagine, the Lord seeks to help us in every possible way, for our safety and well-being. Failing to listen to what He teaches us is dangerous, because it gives the enemy the opportunity to carry out his intentions. God, however, wants to help us avoid the works of evil.

We need to obey the Most High’s guidance regarding what we should do—whether praying for someone, giving an offering to the church, or helping those in need. When God gives us a mission, He has already set aside the resources necessary to accomplish it. Those who do not understand this refuse to carry out His instructions and, in doing so, lose their reward.

When the Lord entrusts us with a task, we must keep it in our hearts and wait for the right moment to act. As we do what God has appointed us to do, we feel encouraged, strengthened, and filled with courage, becoming more willing to live better, because His power lifts our spirits, and what we once thought impossible becomes possible.

As we begin to live and multiply, others will notice the change and the strength in us. On the other hand, those who are sad, discouraged, and filled with fear that this new work may not be accomplished should examine themselves and see whether they have followed God’s instruction. How often are we led to do something for someone, but soon set it aside? With faith, put your hands to work!

Those who are obedient to God know that the promise will be fulfilled. Even if you live among unbelievers or hostile people, He will multiply your strength (Isaiah 40:29). However, you must walk firmly in the Holy Spirit, so that His breath will guide you and teach you how, when, and where to do what the Word commands. One thing is certain: everything Jesus said will come to pass, even if everyone says no. He is faithful in all things (Matthew 24:35)!

In addition to the wonderful multiplication that God works in us, we will be able to enter the promised land, where there is as much abundance as there is in Heaven. The Lord’s reward will be fulfilled as follows: But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred (Mark 4:8). The Gospel is the best field in which to plant, for the harvest will always be abundant.

Many people turned to the church and accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, but at some point allowed themselves to be deceived by someone who said that God no longer performs miracles. Now, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and this is the right time for you to enter the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of multiplication!

Today's Prayer

Father of multiplication! In You, there is far more awaiting us than we can imagine. You will cause us to enjoy the abundant life brought by Christ. We cannot and must not give any credit to the devil, because he has never stood in the Truth!

By obeying Your Word and the touch of Your Spirit, we will be led to places we never thought we would go, and we will see Your works through those who love You and take their stand in You, taking the first steps toward the promised land, which we will possess in Your Name!

We want to enter the land of multiplication and Your work, which returns to those who believe in You and love You thirty, sixty, and a hundred times what was planted. We will not bow to the evil one nor join the rebellious. We thank You for giving us Your Kingdom!
