Make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:21

The Lord makes Himself available to perfect those who are saved who want to be successful in His work. There is only one thing God requires of them in order for them to be a blessing to the lost: that they allow themselves to be used by Him. How wonderful it would be if there were thousands of Christians prepared to lead the lost to salvation, being freed from their sins!

The writer of the Letter to the Hebrews asks that Christians be perfected in every good work, so that Christ may be glorified in their lives. The Church must understand that good works cannot stop or regress. Every day, someone dies without having known the Lord, and many who claim to be saved do not truly know Him. We must pass on to them everything that Christ taught us.

We cannot ordain pastors who do not know how to handle the Bible and who do not have the fear of God as their main goal in life. If they are always on the “seesaw” of temptations and hesitate about what the Word instructs, sooner or later they will fall into sin. Many people need to know both the Old and New Testaments. Those who are saved cannot merely say that Jesus saves; they must also show who He is.

Those who do not dedicate themselves to this will never carry out good works and will fail to fulfill the Lord’s will (Ephesians 2:10). Knowing God's purpose is essential to pointing the Light to the lost. We know that there are those who do not care to learn from the Master or to make disciples. We, however, must fulfill our mission, grounded in the fact that Jesus knew the Father's plans. Dedicate yourself to learning from Christ!

By growing in the Word of God, our faith will become unshakable and fruitful in the ministry of the New Covenant. In this way, we will carry out the work as Jesus did and taught His disciples (John 14:12). Our life on Earth is short, and the disciples we make will only succeed if they are guided to live for Christ and to obey Him. The Church groans for a lack of workers instructed in the Word.

Those who have grown in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior (2 Peter 3:18) do not live in doubt; rather, they proclaim the Good News with authority and offer people the benefits of the Gospel. In this way, those who speak against faith in Christ are silenced before the wonders and gifts of the Lord poured out on the Church. The house of God will become such a great blessing that multitudes will come from near and far to receive salvation!

By faith in Jesus, do what is pleasing to God. To Him be the glory and honor forever! The Lord wants to do great things, beginning by perfecting you and others in His Church. Be sensitive to His voice and believe that you will soon be used!

Today's Prayer

Beloved God! It will be wonderful when everyone is perfected in Jesus and used by Your Spirit to perform miracles. Then, we will see multitudes of sinners repenting of their sins. Help us in our mission!

We want to fulfill Your will as Your Son fulfilled it. During His days on Earth, He healed the sick, freed the captives, and gave new life to those who believed in Him. We thank You for what You have shown us in Your Word and ask for discernment to understand it and put it into practice!

Through Christ, work in our midst what is pleasing to You. Thus, glory and honor will be given to You forever. May the Savior be the theme of every wholesome conversation! In this way, the lost will surrender to Him!
