And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross

Philippians 2:8

Obeying the Lord is one of the greatest virtues a person can have. This attitude will lead a person to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Those who allow themselves to be led astray by the devil's offers do not realize how much harm they do to others and to themselves Matthew 7:21-23. Everything in life passes, but those who fulfill the plan of the Most High will never be forgotten or abandoned by Him. The important thing is to live according to the Word of the Lord, so as not to fall into the clutches of the destroyer, our enemy.

There are not enough words to explain God's love for us. Being with the Father in the creation of all things, in His Kingdom where everything works perfectly and no evil exists, Christ emptied Himself and, stripping Himself of the prerogatives inherent to the Sovereign in Heaven, reduced Himself to human seed and was born here Philippians 2:5-8. What immense love He has for us!

When the Jewish leaders argued with Jesus because they did not understand language that was superior to theirs, He bore with them, for He knew they were from below, from the earth, and He was from above, from Heaven John 8:23. Patience was one of His virtues, which we also must have toward the lost. He did not present Himself as superior to the religious leaders of His time, but warned them with the humility of the Master of masters.

Jesus came into the world as a human being, but He did not act like men who love wrong things and are not content with little. Christ had a brilliant mind. He never polluted it with the tempter's offers. Many people do not realize that sin delays their lives, and no one should think of doing evil against their neighbor, for evil works like a cancer that needs to be removed.

Being found in the form of a man, Christ did not act like any of them; on the contrary, He strove to make them walk with God. Those who follow the guidance of the Word will follow Jesus' example and will never fall into the snares of the enemy, who will tempt them and cause them to fail in life. The devil does everything he can to take us out of our position in the Lord and place us under his feet!

Anyone who has God's commandments and keeps them will be loved by the Lord and will lack nothing, because the Father and the Son, through the Holy Spirit, will dwell in them, as Jesus taught in John 14:23: Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." Is there any greater privilege? I do not think so!

The Savior knew He would come into the world to die in our place. He left His throne of splendor, became incarnate, fulfilled His ministry, made disciples and, finally, sent His Spirit to dwell in those who kept His Word John 14:17. After dying on the cross, He descended to the realm of the dead, Hell, to defeat Satan for us. Then He rose again and ascended to Heaven. Since then, He has been seated at the right hand of the Father, and we are also seated with Him Ephesians 2:6; Colossians 2:15.

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

God, beloved Redeemer! Our redemption was completed because Jesus followed through to the end in the mission You gave Him. Christ was born of a virgin, by the work and grace of Your Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity!

On the cross, Jesus paid the price for our salvation. He overthrew the reign of death, conquered the power of the devil, and rose again on the third day for our justification. Today, we owe nothing to the devil, who led Adam to the fall and made his descendants servants of sin. Now, in Christ, we are truly free!

Father, we want to learn to love You more, and this is possible through the action of Your Spirit in us, when we are inclined to learn from You. You have led us to Your Kingdom, where all that is good exists!
