If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus

Ephesians 4.21

There is no truth outside of Jesus. Speaking of Himself, He said to Thomas: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14.6). People who insist on discovering the Truth without examining the Bible do not realize that they are being deceived by the devil. This horrible and characterless being gives the lost the false illusion that one day they will discover the truth. Only Christ is the real Truth!

Listening to Jesus is an order from the Father, who said: And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”  (Mark 9.7). Those who do not want to do this are hard-hearted and find themselves in the group of rebels who will be devoured by the sword: But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken (Isaiah 1.20). Watch and believe!

Those who heed the words of the Master become powerful workers and can declare their dependence on the Father, just as Jesus said: Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John 14.10). He performed works through His Word, just as the Father did at the beginning of creation. Act in the same way and be victorious!

To carry out Christ's work, we must use the words He used. Then the Father will determine that it be done (John 14:12). The secret to being instruments of God is to follow the example of His Son. No matter what problem needs to be solved, we will accomplish what the Lord has determined if we use the Master's resources. We must not fear or be uncertain, for we are an extension of Christ on Earth.

We need to learn the importance of remaining in Christ (John 15:1-7). The things that take us away from God's presence are small and insignificant, and because of them, we can be defeated in our actions. Those who are not in Jesus get involved in situations that do not help the Gospel at all, but only hinder it. Those who remain in the Son and learn from Him will never stumble over the obstacles placed by the evil one to defeat them. Pray!

Not everything taught in church strengthens us to the point of making us successful, but everything we learn in Christ enables us to win the hardest and most terrible battles (Ephesians 6:10-12). This teaching makes us fearless, like the lion that is not afraid to face an elephant, even if it sometimes loses the battle. The fearless saved people face the devil and always triumph (Luke 10:19)!

With the Truth in Jesus, we will never lose the fight against evil. We must be like David, who faced Goliath, the giant, saying: Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied (1 Samuel 17.45).

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Father, Author and Finisher of all things! Finding Jesus and, in Him, the peace and power to live free from evil schemes was the best thing that ever happened to us. That is why the world does not know us, for we are not and never will be of it. We are Your children!

When we heard the teachings of Jesus, our souls rejoiced, and then we came to have Your love. In Christ, we are completely fulfilled, living according to the plan You had for mankind, even after the fall in the Garden of Eden.

In Jesus, we were taught to live according to Your Word. In Your Son, there are only good things for those who fear You. We need to give You due respect. The Truth is in You. We are Yours!
