All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits.
Proverbs 16.2
The natural man is a master at finding ways to get more and live better, since his purpose is to accumulate for many years. But if God says that your soul will be gathered today, what good will the possessions you have earned be? (Lk 12.13-21). There is nothing better than knowing the Lord and His Word, because those who have the knowledge of the Eternal will undoubtedly know how to solve problems. Those who walk with Him will never lack anything (Ps 34:9). There is provision!
The Lord put Abraham to the test in a way that will never be repeated: He commanded him to offer his son with Sarah as a sacrifice. At just the right time, God shouted from Heaven, telling the patriarch that He was offering His firstborn to save us: Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. (Genesis 22.13).
Normally, man's gaze is directed towards gathering the goods he desires to make ends meet. The Sovereign looks at everything at the same time and can therefore instruct us, point us in the right direction and guide us with His eyes (Psalm 32:8). When we let Him do this, we soon see that there is more from Him for us. By learning to take the right course under His direction, we experience what we could never have imagined belonging to us. Love God!
No one faced such a trial as Jacob in order to marry his beloved Rachel. His father-in-law changed his promise and gave him Leia as his wife, but promised that if he worked seven more years out of love for Rachel, she would be given to him: So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her. (Genesis 29.20). You see, when we love the Lord, there is no price too high to pay, because we want to do the complete work to obtain the eternal reward.
When man finds himself in trouble and sets his eyes on the Lord, he soon sees the way out of his dilemma: and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” (Exodus 15.26). Do what is right in God's eyes and be happy!
The Lord weighs our spirit and checks whether we have added human elements to it. Now, if we walk the path of Heaven, we will be greatly blessed. We are the people who do God's will, so we must never add to our spirit any teaching contrary to the Holy Scriptures. Our mission is to take biblical knowledge to the whole world. This pleases our Father (Matthew 28:18-20). Strive to be a blessing!
Those who get involved with evil spirits don't know how much evil they are attracting into their homes. We can only relate to the Holy Spirit. By closing ourselves off to religious doctrines and opening ourselves up to the Word of God, we become blessings of the highest quality, a rare thing that the world needs but doesn't know where to find. Let's serve God!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God of our understanding! We accept Your direction in the Word and ask for help to listen carefully to Your voice. We desire to learn all that the Bible has to teach us. Then we will follow the path of grace!
How can we do what is right before Your perfect eyes, if we are human? Only by obtaining Your knowledge. We will succeed in faith when You begin to guide us. With Your instructions, we will be victorious!
We need to keep Your statutes, so that no sickness afflicts us. After all, we know that Jesus took upon Himself our sicknesses, pains and infirmities, as well as our transgressions and iniquities. You are our Lord!
