It was not by chance that the apostles rented, or borrowed, a majestic place. Certainly, the Lord was behind this great blessing. The best part is that space was able to welcome all those who were with the Master, no one was left out. Although the place was the temporary residence of Peter and the other apostles, divine goodness transformed it into an environment of prayer and supplication to God.

We already understand that there is no coincidence in the work of the Lord, but rather the work of Heaven to give everyone a worthy place to dwell while they seek divine security and love. In the Lord, there is always provision for what is necessary, for He is perfect in His deeds in our favor. The disciples would spend hours and days there, waiting for the fulfillment of the promise made by Jesus.

Looking at our past and understanding how we came to know the Son of God are actions that leave us happy and grateful. In fact, it was Christ who sought us in our perdition. With His unconditional love, He made us feel amazed and grateful for such a great work for us. Without salvation, we would be separated from God. May the Most High help us not to succumb to temptations!

We want to continue serving the Heavenly Father and doing His will. We cry out for those who have not yet had the pleasure of knowing Jesus and His plan of love destined for all who are immersed in their iniquities. Life without the Savior is empty, meaningless. Why would we wander lost in the world if God offers to be always by our side? 

Outside the presence of the Lord, we are like the disciples in the boat on the Sea of Galilee, exposed to the waves and strong winds, without the help of Christ. However, upon feeling the presence of the Lord, we rise with faith and security. Thus, we begin to face the storms of life without fearing danger. Firm in faith, we will live without fear, under the protection of the Creator, surrounded by His power.

Why should we fear, if our faith is in Christ and we have been made alive by His Spirit? The person who does not know Him despairs, because they do not know yet that the Shepherd of the Church was the Shepherd of Israel. At that time, the Most High protected His people with royal protection, and those people lived under His mercy, serving Him with righteousness. However, now, this does not happen, for everyone claims to know how to act and, thus, they guard themselves, rejecting the Lord.

Jesus knew how to prepare His disciples. Among them, there was no one who considered themselves more important than the others. In this way, the work was carried out with love and dedication to the Lord. When this happens in any congregation, the Kingdom of God grows!
