WHY SUFFER?

But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

Acts 3:18

No one has to suffer from the evils that afflict people around the world, especially those who still resist accepting Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Jesus has already paid the price for humanity to be blessed by God. Therefore, command the evil that torments your life to leave, for you too have benefited from Christ's sacrifice on the cross at Calvary.

The secret to getting rid of any temptation, disturbance, or illness is to understand that the saved do not have to accept any misfortune that befalls them, because the Savior fulfilled what the prophets declared about Him. Isaiah declared clearly: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6). Just believe in Jesus!

This verse, written by the prophet, inspired by the Spirit of God, leaves no doubt: the heavenly Father laid on His Son all our iniquities. God also laid on Christ our infirmities and pains, and the chastisement that brings us peace was upon Him (Isaiah 53:4-5). Those who surrender to Jesus accept the work of salvation through His death and resurrection. Keep this before your eyes and resist evil!

We were not called into the Kingdom of God to stand still, with our arms crossed, but to fight the Lord's battles. You, like everyone else, must follow the Scriptures, resisting by the power of the Name of Jesus: You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. (Hebrews 12:4). To bloodshed means to death. The Master said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.  (John 11:25).

There is much for us to do in our daily lives in order to obey God. His Word warns us: Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ (Deuteronomy 27:26). It is our duty to fulfill all the ordinances revealed to us through Bible reading or during preaching in worship services. Those who do not take possession of their blessing are under a curse. The Church must overcome!

It is good to understand that God has thus fulfilled what He foretold by the mouth of all His prophets. So do not accept any lies from the devil, for the Word is the Truth. Jesus asked the Father: Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.  (John 17:17). Stand in the Truth and leave behind the lie, which kills and destroys your faith. The wise bring joy to the Father's heart, but liars do not (Proverbs 23:15).

The psalmist said: The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. (Psalm 119:160). Wake up, child of God! Jesus has already suffered everything that could afflict and disturb you. Why continue suffering and giving place to the devil, so that he can deceive you? Believe what you have learned today in this message. Your faith connects you to God now. Take possession, watch, and pray!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

God of power! Before You, we take our place, as Your Word declares, for it is the Truth. In the Name of Jesus, we command that all evil depart and never return; after all, Christ suffered in our place to set us free!

We declare our healing so that You may be glorified in the Son, who came into the world to deliver humanity from eternal suffering. Now, we are Your people and we declare that all evil has been destroyed!

Our decision is final, because Jesus completed Your plan. We thank You for revealing to us the Truth that delivers, heals, and gives us the ability to resist evil, knowing that, in Your Name, it will flee from us. Amen!
