Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days
Proverbs 19.20
We often hear that old age brings a storm of ailments, such as weakness and memory loss. However, our afflictions are related to ignorance of what God's Word says about us. The danger comes when we assume that reaching old age is something problematic. Since the Bible does not declare this, accepting such an idea is robbing the Lord.
Every time we are exhorted while reading or meditating on the Word, we are able to live in the fullness of what it has revealed to us. In the services, I have been used by the Holy Spirit to minister blessings that change lives, heal the sick, and restore souls. In our daily lives, we face situations that we did not seek, but were placed there by the devil to pull us away from our position in Christ. However, God is our Protector!
Listening to advice is essential for us to remain steadfast in our faith in Christ, who is our security whenever the enemy comes with his cunning. We are part of the Body of Christ, the triumphant Church of the Savior. Being tempted does not mean that we have sinned, but rather that there is danger around us. Therefore, we must resist with the weapons of our righteousness—the revelations that the Lord gives us in His prevailing Word!
The Most High assists us in our temptations so that we may overcome them. Remember: the devil will intensify his temptations, making us feel guilty for the trials we go through. At that moment, the best thing to do is to examine whether we really sought that situation, or if it was the work of the adversary. When we realize that he was to blame, we only need to thank God for keeping us safe.
Correction comes as a remedy to heal our weaknesses. We must confess our mistakes in order to restore our communion with the Almighty, and then continue in the battle of salvation. Never forget: after repenting, acknowledge your fault, ask for forgiveness, believe that God has forgiven you, and act as if you have been acquitted. Repeating the confession is unnecessary!
The Lord teaches us to act wisely. Many saved people, when they reach the end of their lives, become desperate and begin to confess all their sins once again. Now, keeping faith in God is the best thing to do. Make things right with Him now by acknowledging your faults to receive divine forgiveness. The Most High wants you to be wise in your latter days.
It is good to remember the promises that the Lord used to lift you up. However, if you feel that you were led astray by an evil spirit and, because of this, did not confess your mistake to someone, speak about what happened and ask if there is still something that troubles that person. Correct your behavior now!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Our God! It is not good to delay our confession to You and to the person we have offended. Acknowledging that we mistreated someone and asking for forgiveness relieves that person, and ourselves as well, from the hatred that our sin has caused them.
We thank You for the counsel placed in the Scriptures. They take away the weight of thoughtless or premeditated acts. May the devil never again come out victorious over us! By confessing our iniquities, we are acquitted by Your love!
Father, correct us, so that our wounds may be healed and, with that, we may return to full communion with You. You will make us wise in our latter days. We are grateful for Your teachings!
